New Men's Basketball Pre-Game Fan Experience To Debut On Saturday

Florida Gator basketball fans can enjoy a new interactive area, Alligator Alley, which will debut this Saturday, Jan. 23, prior to the men's basketball game versus South Carolina. Fans that stop by Alligator Alley prior to Saturday's game can pick up a coupon for a kids ticket to the basketball game for only $5.
This Saturday will mark the first of two Alligator Alley appearances this season and will open at 4 p.m. The area, located between Gates 3 and 4 of Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, will offer fans an opportunity to get autographs from Gator teams, shoot baskets and have their faces painted. Fans can have caricatures drawn and can watch college basketball games on TVs set up around the stadium. Special concessions offerings will be also be available. The event will begin two hours prior to tip off and will conclude 20 minutes before tip.
On Saturday, Gator fans will have the opportunity to get autographs from the Gator women's tennis and lacrosse teams from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Fans can also listen to Gator Radio Network analyst Jeff Cardozo break down the South Carolina game and interview head coaches Roland Thornqvist (women's tennis) and Amanda O'Leary (lacrosse). UF students will be on hand to collect pledge forms for Gators United for Haiti.
Parking is available in the commuter lot located off of Lemerand Drive. Shuttles will take fans from the lot to Gate 2 of the O'Connell Center beginning two hours prior to tip off.
