The University of Florida women's basketball team continued practicing and preparing for its 2010-11 season, which gets underway at the O'Connell Center on Sat., Nov. 13 against UCF in the first round of the Preseason Women's NIT.
Redshirt-junior Jordan Jones (Suwanee, Ga.) is the Gators' lone returning perimeter player and is the team's leading returning scorer from last year, when she averaged 9.1 points, in addition to 2.4 assists and 1.3 steals per game.
Jones set the UF record for the most consecutive games in a season with a 3-pointer (23), as she knocked down 55 from beyond the arc, the second-most ever by a sophomore in program history.
