
Florida vs. Virginia Tape-Delay Broadcast Airs Sunday on Sun Sports

University of Florida swimming and diving fans will be able to take in a replay broadcast of UF's home dual meet versus Virginia on Sun Sports, airing on three upcoming occasions. The Oct. 11 meet will first air Sun., Oct. 24, at 11 a.m. on Cox channel 48 (Gainesville). The second broadcast will air Mon., Oct. 25, at 11 p.m., while the third and final broadcast will air on Wed., Oct. 27, at 10 a.m. on Sun Sports.
The Florida women's swimming and diving squad defeated 2010 ACC Champions Virginia by a score of 150-148 at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center as part of UF's first dual meet of the season. On the men's side, Florida dropped a 153-145 decision to the Cavaliers. Florida earned three SEC Athlete of the Week honors, as senior swimmer Conor Dwyer (Winnetka, Ill.) won SEC Male Swimmer of the Week, senior diver Monica Dodson (Franklin, Ind.) took home SEC Female Diver of the Week and freshman swimmer Elizabeth Beisel (North Kingstown, R.I.) was named SEC Female Swimmer of the Week.
Sun Sports is available statewide in over 6.6 million cable and satellite homes, and nationwide via satellite providers.
The Gators return to the pool for their SEC opener next Friday, Oct. 29, when they travel to SEC rival Georgia. Meet time is scheduled for 11 a.m. Gator fans are encouraged to follow the swimming and diving program via Twitter or Facebook.
