
Coach Butler and Azania Stewart Participated in SEC Basketball Media Day

University of Florida head coach Amanda Butler and junior center Azania Stewart (Wood Green, England) traveled to Birmingham, Ala., on Thursday to represent the Gators at the 2010 Southeastern Conference Basketball Media Day.
Butler and Stewart represented the Florida women's team, while head coach Billy Donovan and Chandler Parsons spoke on behalf of the men's squad.
The Gators spoke with a number of the 300-plus credentialed media members, who were there from newspapers, magazines, television, online publications and much, much more from around the country.

Florida opens its 2010-11 season at home on Sat., Nov. 13, when the team plays host to UCF in the first round of the Preseason Women's NIT. Game time will be announced as soon as the Gator football game against South Carolina also being played that day in Gainesville has been set.
