UFirst Recognizes Employees For Superior Guest Service Skills
Wednesday, October 6, 2010 | Football
The UFirst Employee Recognition Program was unveiled at the start of the 2010 Gator Football season and has thus far been a success. The purpose of this program is to unite the game day staff and let the fans know that they are our priority. Nearly 100 fans have given their feedback, comments and employee nominations and we are looking forward to what else our guests have to say.
It is no secret that it takes teamwork from everyone on a Gator Football game day to make the event a success and provide each guest with a positive experience. Because of this, we have invited and encouraged our fans and other staff members to let us know how we're doing, and so far over 50 game-day employees have been recognized.
The names of the individuals below have proven their superior guest service skills and have been noticed by someone else. Each of these persons has already received their first pin, which signifies they were recognized for embodying the program's mission statement: “The UFirst program is dedicated to providing the highest level of customer satisfaction. Through teamwork and personal integrity, we are committed to delivering a fun experience in a safe environment for each guest.”
The pin is a symbol of the impressive work put forth by the individual and they are encouraged to wear it each game day. The **next to some the names below, indicates that this individual has continuously been recognized for their service and have been awarded the silver pin.
The UFirst Program is anticipating the future nominations and comments from guests and staff alike, so please continue to participate and thank those individuals who make a difference at a game. Thank you to each staff member who has been nominated for your continued guest service efforts.

UFirst – Employee Recognition and Fan Feedback Program
Did you have a positive experience at our athletic event? Did one of our staff members go out of their way to make your visit great? We'd love to hear your feedback on our event and staff. There are several ways to send in your comments: through text message, e-mail or a comment card.
· To text in your feedback, text “GATORS” along with any information to 69050. Please note that standard SMS rates apply.
· To e-mail us your feedback, please direct all e-mails to UFirst@gators.uaa.ufl.edu
· Or while you're at an event, please stop by a Guest Services kiosk, located at Gates 2, 7 and 16, and fill out a nomination/feedback form and drop it in the box.
The UFirst Program was created to reward those staff members who embody the program's mission statement and truly strive to make every guest's experience a positive one. All employees are eligible to win prizes and receive public recognition for their hard work and efforts.
UFirst Mission Statement: “The UFirst program is dedicated to providing the highest level of customer satisfaction. Through teamwork and personal integrity, we are committed to delivering a fun experience in a safe environment for each guest.”
