Live SEC Scores & Stats? There's an App For That

A new mobile application from the Southeastern Conference is bringing hi-tech meaning to the phrase “The Gator Nation is everywhere.”

The SEC Digital Network launched the SEC Mobile app Wednesday for iPhones and Android smart phones.

With the new app, Gator fans along with fans from all over the SEC can keep up with the latest conference news, video highlights and original programming. An app for Blackberrys and iPads is expected to debut by Nov. 1.

The application's features include:

Live scores, stats and updated standings. Live scores available for baseball, basketball, football, soccer, softball and volleyball.

Breaking news and conference headlines

Schedules for all conference sports

Video previews for Countdown to Kickoff and the SEC Playbook

Original video programming including SEC Classic Moments, SEC
Women's Report, SEC Rewind and SEC Insider

GameDay Central video highlights after each game

The application was designed for the SEC by XOS Digital, a leader in providing digital technologies for collegiate and professional sports organizations.
