Florida hosts South Carolina with a trip to the SEC Championship Game on the line. The Gators (6-3, 4-3 SEC) come into the matchup fresh off a 55-14 road victory against Vanderbilt, with South Carolina is 6-3 (4-3 SEC) following a 41-20 loss to Arkansas.
This weekend will mark the 31st meeting in series history, with UF holding a 23-4-3 edge all-time. Florida is 4-1 against the Gamecocks under head coach Urban Meyer.
The Gators are looking to sweep their SEC East slate for the third consecutive season and 11th time since divisional play began in 1992.
Meyer and South Carolina head coach Steve Spurrier have combined to make 10 appearances in the SEC Championship Game, with Meyer's three and Spurrier's seven all coming as Florida's head coach.
