Viktorija Dimaite and Carlie Needles both signed a National Letter of Intent during the early signing period to play for the Gators beginning in the 2011-12 season.

Dimaite, whose name is pronounced Victoria Dee-uh-MON-tae, is a 6-4 center from Lithuania and talked with The Gainesville Sun about why she wanted to become a Gator.
