
Head Coach Amanda Butler Previews Tuesday's Home Game, Busy Week Ahead

University of Florida head coach Amanda Butler addressed the media Monday morning as part of the Gators' All-Sports Media Day.
Coach Butler shared her assessment of the team's advancement to the semifinals of the Preseason WNIT, where the Gators advanced to the semifinals before losing a heartbreaking 74-73 decision at DePaul.
Florida plays host to North Florida on Tuesday beginning a 4:30 p.m. (doubleheader with UF men's team), before traveling to Orono, Maine, to participate in the Dead River Company Classic. Florida plays South Alabama in the first round scheduled for Fri., Nov. 26, before facing either Maine or Navy in the next round on Saturday.
Coach also fielded questions about what she's seen from her young team through the first three games, on the number of turnovers, on Tuesday's game against North Florida, on playing two tournaments in two weeks, on the chemistry of the six newcomers and on freshman guard Jaterra Bonds (Gainesville, Fla.)
