Erika Tymrak Featured on Wednesday's GatorZone Show on Sun Sports

Wednesday's edition of GatorZone includes highlights from the Gators' 2010 soccer season and a feature on sophomore Erika Tymrak (Lakewood Ranch, Fla./Edison Academic Center). The GatorZone television show airs Wednesday, Dec. 1 on Sun Sports (Gainesville/Ocala Cox Cable channel 48 or 748) at 5:30 p.m. The show replays on Thursday, Dec. 2 at 12:30 p.m.
Tymrak led the Southeastern Conference with her 13 assists in the 2010 season and was a second-team selection to TopDrawerSoccer.com National Teams of the Season. She earned All-SEC first team honors and was named Most Valuable Player of the SEC Tournament. She finished third among the Gators in points (25) and fourth in goals (6). In addition to her stellar play at midfield, Tymrak's background as a gymnast and figure skater are discussed in the GatorZone feature.
During the 2010 season, Florida claimed the SEC regular-season and tournament titles. It held top 10 national rankings in 10 of the 12 NSCAA polls of the season.
