Three Gator soccer players will receive their degrees in this weekend's University of Florida commencement ceremonies. Seniors Ashlee Elliott, Katie Fraine and Nicky Kit are among 33 Gator student-athletes who are part of the graduating class of 2010.
Elliott and Kit each will receive their degrees in sociology while Fraine graduates with a degree in criminology.
The trio was part of a Southeastern Conference championship team each year of their Florida soccer careers, and they are the fifth Gator class to win four consecutive titles. Elliott and Fraine actually have been a part of five consecutive SEC titles teams, as they each red-shirted one season (Fraine-2006 & Elliott-2009).
The list of Florida student-athlete graduates also includes 12 football players, six women's swimmers, two gymnasts, two men's swim team members, two women's basketball players, and one student-athlete each from men's basketball, men's tennis, men's track and field, women's track and field, women's golf and volleyball.
