Florida swept the league's 2010 soccer titles, claiming the SEC soccer championship with its 9-1-1 record in league play and defeating South Carolina 1-0 in the SEC Tournament final. The regular season title was the fifth consecutive for the Gator soccer team and the 11th in the program's 16-year history. The SEC Tournament title was Florida's ninth and first since 2007.
Florida's seniors consisting of Ashlee Elliott, Katie Fraine and Nicky Kit were part of a SEC championship team each year of their Gator careers. They are the fifth Gator class to win four consecutive league titles. Elliott and Fraine were part of five SEC championship teams, as Fraine received a medical redshirt for the 2006 season and a knee injury sidelined Elliott for the 2009 campaign.
