Inclement Weather Impacts UF Softball Schedule in Clearwater, Fla.

The No. 3/5 University of Florida softball team's first day of the 2010 season was canceled due to rain. The team will resume action in the USF Wilson-DeMarini Tournament in Clearwater, Fla., on Saturday, Feb. 13 with new opponents and game times.
The Gators were scheduled to play at 4 and 6 p.m. on Friday but heavy rains postponed all games of the USF-hosted event until Saturday. UF will now take on East Carolina at noon on Saturday and No. 13/14 Georgia Tech at 3 p.m. The Gators will play on Sunday, Feb. 14 at 1:30 and 3:30 p.m., facing USF and Long Island, respectively.
