Athletics Director Jeremy Foley Met with the Media on Monday

University of Florida athletics director Jeremy Foley addressed the media Monday morning as part of the Gators' All-Sports Media Day.
Mr. Foley shared his excitement about the addition of women's lacrosse to the Florida athletic program. The team plays its inaugural game on Saturday at 6 p.m.
He also talked about the process of selecting the sport and the long term expectations he has for lacrosse.
Mr. Foley then discussed and fielded questions about the importance of lacrosse having its own facility, on the fundraising efforts that went into the facility, on getting the community excited about a new sport, on hiring Amanda O'Leary at the program's inaugural coach and on his personal lacrosse background.
