Head Coach Gregg Troy Met with the Media on Monday

University of Florida head coach Gregg Troy addressed the media Monday morning as part of the Gators' All-Sports Media Day. Coach Troy shared his thoughts about the Gator men's and women's teams both placing second at the Southeastern Conference Championships last week.
Coach Troy and diving coach Donnie Craine were named SEC Coaches of the Year, while Gemma Spofforth, Conor Dwyer and Kara Salamone were named SEC Athletes of the Year in swimming and diving. The Gators brought home a combined 14 SEC titles and 18 NCAA automatic qualifying races and broke two SEC records and six Florida records with their successful run over the four-day meet.
He also discussed and fielded questions on Salamone, Dwyer and Spofforth, as well as on being named the SEC Coach of the Year and on any last-chance meets Florida will swim.
