Lacrosse Set to Host New Hampshire on Saturday

The University of Florida lacrosse team is set to host New Hampshire on Saturday at 1:00 at Donald R. Dizney Stadium in Gainesville. The game will be broadcast live on WRUF AM850 and GatorVision Online.

There will be a Kids Zone Area where children can make posters, play games and get balloon hats from Magic Mike who will be roaming the concourse.
The Gators improved to 4-3 on the season with their best all-around performance of the year in a 22-3 win over Marist on Wednesday. The Wildcats are 4-2, but dropped their last game at No. 2 Maryland, 20-6.
Florida's offense was very efficient in their last outing, scoring 22 goals on 37 shots for a season-best .595 shooting percentage. UF is averaging 14.14 goals per game, led by Ashley Bruns (Ellicott City, Md.), who has 20 goals and 18 assists on the season.
Bruns total of 10 points (six goals, four assists) against Marist tied for the fourth-most in a single game this season in the nation. She now has 38 points on the season, which would rank second nationally based on statistics through March 14.
The Wildcats average 10.17 goals and 25.0 shots per game. Hayley Rausch leads the team with 14 goals and Shaunna Kaplan has a team-leading 10 assists.
The Gator defense played outstanding against Marist, only allowing 10 shots in the game and just three in the second half. UF is holding opponents to 10.29 goals per game and has caused 53 turnovers.
Until their last outing against Maryland, UNH had allowed just 8.2 goals per game. They gave up 20 goals to the Terps. Kate Keagins has a team-leading 12 ground balls and 13 draw controls.
