Watts Leads UF Individuals at JMU/Eagle Landing Invitational

Sophomore Andrea Watts (Bradenton, Fla.) is leading a trio of UF individuals currently competing at the JMU/Eagle Landing Invitational. The tournament is being held on the par-72, 6,282-yard Eagle Landing Golf Club.
Watts is currently tied for sixth with a two-round score of 148 (75-73, +4). She was even-par through her first seven holes before making a bogey on her eighth. Watts rallied back after making bogeys on her 10th and 11th holes to collect birdies on her 13th and 18th holes.
Making her first collegiate tournament appearance, freshman Megan Pak (Bradenton, Fla.) is tied for 35th. Pak improved her first round score by four strokes, carding a three-over 75 in Monday's second round. She currently boasts a 36-hole score of 154 (79-75, +10). She made six bogeys and three birdies on Monday.
Senior Nicole Schachner (Libertyville, Ill.) shot a five-over 77 in her second round on Monday for a total score of 155 (78-77. +11), good for a tie for 38th.
