Feature about Gator Gymnast Amanda Castillo Runs on Wednesday's GatorZone

Tomorrow evening's edition of GatorZone on Sun Sports includes a feature about Florida senior gymnast Amanda Castillo. The first airing of GatorZone is at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 10 with a re-airing at noon on Thursday, March 11 (North/Central Florida area only).
Castillo is a seven-time All-American for the Gator gymnastics team and owns a career total of 35 event titles. This season, Castillo is coming back from a partial tear to her left Achilles tendon which sidelined her for the championship portion of her junior season. She has collected three uneven bar titles as a senior, including the last two. Castillo is majoring in marketing and is a two-time member of the Southeastern Conference Academic Honor Roll.
Castillo and the rest of the No. 4 Gator gymnastics team returns to action Friday, March 19 at 7 p.m. against perennial power No. 9 Utah. Tickets are $4.00 for adults while children 17 and under and UF students with Gator1 cards are admitted free. The first 500 children (age 12 and under) receive a Gator bookmark. Area Domino's are distributing free admission tickets for the meet. It is also Senior Night and Florida's five member class will be honored in a post-meet ceremony.
