New England Patriots Select Jermaine Cunningham in NFL Draft

The New England Patriots have made former UF defensive lineman Jermaine Cunningham (Stone Mountain, Ga.) the 53rd pick of the 2010 NFL Draft, selecting him with the 21st pick of the second round.
Cunningham is the fourth Gator selected in the draft and the second defensive player (Joe Haden). In 2009, Cunningham was named a first-team All-SEC performer by Phil Steele and second-team All-SEC by the Associated Press and the conference's coaches.
He is the fourth Gator selected in the draft.
