The 2010 Gator Football season is right around the corner and with that comes the annual College Colors Day. The sixth annual College Colors Day, which is the national celebration of the kick-off of college football and the back-to-school season, will be celebrated on Friday, September 3, 2010. The event seeks to celebrate and promote the traditions and spirit that make college great by encouraging fans, alumni, and students to wear apparel of their favorite college throughout the day of Friday, September 3, 2010. College Colors Day is a national platform that encourages fans to show their support for the University of Florida by wearing Gator hats, earrings, T-shirts, ties, watches - anything orange and blue – on September 3rd.
College Colors Day is an annual event that strives to advocate higher education through increased public awareness, and celebrates the achievements of colleges and universities, acknowledging their fundamental importance. Since its inception in 2005, College Colors Day has grown rapidly across the country. Thousands of organizations and millions of individuals participate annually by donning their team colors and sharing in the college spirit with friends and colleagues.
