
Walton, Enea Lead Florida Pride to NPF Championship Title

University of Florida head softball coach Tim Walton and former Gator left fielder Francesca Enea (Woodland Hills, Calif.) helped lead the USSSA Florida Pride softball team to the 2010 National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) Championship title Sunday evening. The championship victory and NPF trophy was the first ever in Florida Pride history.
Walton, who was named the team's head coach in May, led the Pride to the Championship Series versus the Chicago Bandits over the weekend, winning, 7-2, in a decisive game three setting in Sulphur, La.
