Scott Carter Named Senior Writer for GatorZone.com

Veteran journalist Scott Carter has been hired as the Senior Writer for GatorZone.com, the University Athletic Association has announced.
Carter's addition will help boost unique content to GatorZone.com, as he will provide features, columns and a daily blog for the site. Carter comes to GatorZone.com from the Tampa Tribune where he has covered such high-profile beats as the Tampa Bay Rays, Lightning, Florida State and South Florida.
“Scott is an absolute pro at what he does and will be a tremendous addition to our staff,” said Director of Athletics Jeremy Foley. “We're committed to delivering the best content possible for our fans and Scott is a critical piece of that equation.”
Carter's hire adds to an active month for GatorZone.com, which has undergone a significant redesign. His addition signals a growth in the University Athletic Association's commitment to delivering more news to GatorZone.com.
