
Gymnastics 2010 SEC Title Recognized at Saturday's Football Game

The University of Florida's 2010 Southeastern Conference championship and NCAA Super Six team final appearance were honored at Saturday's football game. The Gator gymnastics team earned its second SEC title since 2007 at the league championships last March in Jacksonville. Florida made its fifth consecutive appearance in the NCAA Super Six team final, finishing fifth overall. Florida also claimed its sixth consecutive NCAA Regional title at the 2010 North Central Region Championships in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Seven Gators earned a total of 11 All-America honors at the 2010 NCAA Championships. Those gymnasts were also recognized at Saturday's presentation.

The Gator gymnastics team opens the 2011 season with a Jan. 7 meet with 2010 NCAA Championship participant Nebraska. Meet time is set for 7 p.m. in the Stephen C. O'Connell Center.
