Monday, September 27, 2010 | Volleyball
The University of Florida volleyball team will host City of Gainesville Night on Friday at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center when the No. 3 Gators square off with No. 17 LSU at 7 p.m. ET in a battle of Southeastern Conference unbeatens.
Admission is free to all Gainesville city residents who present a valid driver's license with a Gainesville residential address at the marketing table outside of Gate 1 of the O'Connell Center. Free admission passes will be granted at that marketing table, as licenses will not be accepted at the turnstile. Children and youth 17 and under receive free admission to all regular-season home matches.
Florida (10-1, 3-0 SEC) and LSU (13-0, 4-0 SEC) are the only two SEC teams with unbeaten league records this season. The Gators have defeated eight teams ranked in the American Volleyball Coaches Association Top-25 poll already this season, while the Tigers, the 2009 SEC Champions, are off to their best start in school history.
