CBS using 6-day option for Florida-LSU game
Tuesday, September 28, 2010 | Football, Scott Carter
CBS is using a six-day option to select its 3:30 p.m. game on Oct. 9. The Gators host LSU that day and No. 1 Alabama plays at No. 19 South Carolina.
CBS will decide by Sunday between the Tigers-Gators game and the Alabama-South Carolina matchup. The Gators travel to Tuscaloosa on Saturday to face the top-ranked Crimson Tide in a game that is being televised on CBS.
Verne Lundquist (play-by-play), Gary Danielson (analyst) and Tracy Wolfson (sideline) are working the game for CBS.
The SEC game not selected by CBS will be televised on either ESPN or ESPN2 at 7:30 p.m.
The SEC Network game of the day Oct. 9 is Tennessee at Georgia at noon.
