Head Coach Roland Thornqvist Previews Upcoming Gator Tennis Action With Media Monday

University of Florida head coach Roland Thornqvist met with the media Monday morning as part of the Gators' All-Sports Media Day.
Coach Thornqvist previewed the upcoming slate for the women's tennis team, announcing that four Gators will compete in one final individual singles and doubles tournament before turning their focus to the dual match season. Lauren Embree, Joanna Mather, Alex Cercone and Olivia Janowicz are slated to hit the courts at the Freeman Memorial hosted by UNLV, Jan. 13-16.
Thornqvist then discussed the excitement the Gators have to welcome the U.S. Junior National Team on Wed., Jan. 19 at 4 p.m. to kick off the 2011 season, before playing host to UCF on Wed., Jan. 26 beginning at 5 p.m. at Linder Stadium at Ring Tennis Complex.
