Gators DE Justin Trattou has accepted an invitation to play in the East-West Shrine Game in Orlando on Jan. 22.
Trattou is the fifth Gator to accept an invitation to a January showcase game in front of NFL scouts. Safety Ahmad Black, C Mike Pouncey, OL Maurice Gilbert and P Chas Henry are playing in the annual Senior Bowl later this month in Mobile, Ala.
The East-West Shrine Game has featured many great players over the years, including John Elway, Tom Brady and Brett Favre.
In his final season at Florida, Trattou finished tied for third on the team with 57 tackles, including 12 tackles-for-loss. He also had a 35-yard interception return for a touchdown in the victory against USF on Sept. 11.
