AUBURN, Ala. – The Gators and No. 24-ranked Auburn are about to kick off here at Jordan-Hare Stadium in a key SEC showdown.
Both teams are 4-2 and looking to stay in their SEC division races.
This is Florida's first trip to Auburn since 2006 when the Gators lost 27-17 in a game that current Florida head coach Will Muschamp was at – he was Auburn's defensive coordinator. The following year Auburn knocked off the Gators 20-17 at The Swamp, the last meeting between the schools.
The Gators are trying to snap a two-game losing streak and stay in the SEC East race. True freshman quarterback Jacoby Brissett, who made his first career start last week at LSU, will start at quarterback for the Gators.
