Gators in the NFL ? Week Six Update

26 former Gators were active week six of the NFL season. Of those 26, 16 started for their respective teams. Carlos Dunlap recorded his first career touchdown on a Reggie Nelson forced fumble. Aaron Hernandez caught the game winning touchdown with 22 seconds left against the Cowboys. Dunlap and Hernandez were the only Gators to find the endzone during week six.
ATLANTA FALCONS
• Mike Peterson- Recorded one tackle in week six
BUFFALO BILLS
• Andra Davis- Started at MLB but did not record a stat
• David Nelson- Started at WR and caught four passes for 62 yards
CHICAGO BEARS
• Major Wright- Started at SS and totaled four tackles in a win against the Vikings
CINCINNATI BENGALS
• Andre Caldwell- Caught four passes for 32 yards
• Carlos Dunlap- Recorded one tackle for a loss and returned a fumble 35 yards for his first career touchdown in the week six victory over the Colts
• Reggie Nelson- Started at FS and led the team with seven tackles including one for a loss and forced a fumble that his fellow Gator teammate, Dunlap, returned for a touchdown
CLEVELAND BROWNS
• Joe Haden- Was inactive week six with a knee injury
DENVER BRONCOS
• Derrick Harvey- Bye week
• Tim Tebow- Bye week
• Marcus Thomas- Bye week
JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS
• Jeremy Mincey- Started at DE in week six and tallied eight tackles including one for a loss against the Pittsburgh Steelers
MIAMI DOLPHINS
• Mike Pouncey- Started at C. It was his fifth consecutive start to begin his career. Pouncey played in his first Monday Night Football game and recorded his first career tackle
MINNESOTA VIKINGS
• Percy Harvin- Started at WR and caught seven passes for 78 yards and had one rush for five yards. Harvin also returned two kicks for 48 yards
NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS
• Jermaine Cunningham- Saw action but failed to record a stat
• Aaron Hernandez- Started at TE a caught eight passes for 68 yards and the go-ahead touchdown late in the fourth quarter against the Cowboys
• Brandon Spikes- Started at OLB and recorded eight tackles including one for a loss and one QB hurry
• Gerard Warren- Notched two tackles, one for a loss and recovered one fumble
OAKLAND RAIDERS
• Cooper Carlisle- Started at RG. Carlisle now has 108 career starts
• Jarvis Moss- Had one tackle against the Browns
• Louis Murphy- Was active for the first time this season after recovering from an injury. Murphy did not record a stat
PHILADELPHIA EAGLES
• Riley Cooper- Recorded one special teams tackle
• Chas Henry- Had three punts for 131 yards with a long of 50 yards
PITTSBURGH STEELERS
• Marcus Gilbert- Was not active week six
• Maurkice Pouncey-Made his 22nd consecutive regular season start at C
• Max Starks- Started his first game of the season after being signed by Pittsburgh two weeks ago
SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS
• Ray McDonald- Earned the start at DT and added one two tackles, one QB hurry, two passes defended and a half sack in a win against the previously undefeated Lions
TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS
• Earnest Graham- Started at RB and carried the ball 17 times for 109 yards. Graham also caught two passes for 22 yards
WASHINGTON REDSKINS
• Jabar Gaffney- Started at WR and was the recipient of two passes for 55 yards
• Rex Grossman- Started at QB and threw for 143 yards and four interceptions on 9-for-22 passing
