Head coach Amanda Butler and senior center Azania Stewart (Wood Green, England) traveled to Hoover, Ala., to represent the Gators at the 2011 Southeastern Conference Media Day.

Florida launches its 2011-12 season on Friday, Nov. 11, when the team plays host to Michigan in the O?Connell Center. Tip-off is set for 4:30 p.m., with the second part of the Gator Basketball doubleheader continuing at 7 p.m. when the men?s team hosts Jackson State.
