Weis will call today's game from coaches' box instead of on sideline

Charlie Weis will have a different view for today's Florida-Georgia game than the one he had in his first seven games as the Gators' offensive coordinator.

Weis is moving upstairs to the coaches' booth to call today's game instead of staying on the sideline.
“It's easier to be a quarterback coach down on the field,'' Weis said. “It's easier to be an offensive coordinator upstairs where you can see everything develop. It removes the emotion from the equation.''
Weis called games last season as Kansas City's offensive coordinator primarily from the booth.
Since Brantley was injured at the end of the first half against Alabama on Oct. 1, the Gators have managed just 17 points in 10 quarters.
Brantley is currently on the field here at EverBank Field throwing passes during warm-ups. He has a heavily-taped right ankle but appears to be moving around fine.
