
Gators Travel To Texas To Complete Fall Slate

The No. 9 ranked Gators take the course for the final time in the 2011 fall season at the Betsy Rawls Invitational in Austin, Texas. They are coming off an 8th place finish at the 2011 SEC/PAC-12 Challenge where the team finished with a tournament score of 893 (+29). It will be the first time the Gators compete at the University of Texas hosted tournament since March of 2008 when they finished second out of 18 teams.
The Betsy Rawls Invitational is a three-day event set to be played Monday October 31 through Wednesday November 2. There will be three 18-hole rounds with a round being played each day.
The Gators will compete against 14 other schools in the 2011 Betsy Rawls Invitational. The 15-team field includes two other SEC schools, Arkansas and Mississippi State. Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Oklahoma State and Texas represent the four teams in the tournament field that are ranked in the top 25 according to the Golf World/NGCA Coaches Poll. Florida is the top ranked team in the field.
