Live Blog: Gators at South Carolina

COLUMBIA, S.C. -- The Gators visit South Carolina this afternoon in their final SEC game of the season.
The game has implications for both teams. South Carolina needs to win and have Auburn beat Georgia to win the SEC East for the second consecutive season.
The Gators need a win to avoid a losing record in the SEC, something Florida hasn't had since 1986.
Meanwhile, since 2005, the annual Gators-Gamecocks matchup has featured the subplot of the former ball coach going against his alma mater. Since former Gators Heisman winner and head coach Steve Spurrier took over South Carolina, he is 2-4 against the Gators.
The Gators hope to spoil Spurrier's bid to earn his ninth berth in the SEC Championship game. Seven of those came during his 12 seasons as Florida's coach from 1990-2001.

Hope you'll stop by and enjoy the game.
