Coach Wise Recapped Last Weekend's Road Trip, Discussed the Emergence of Chloe Mann

University of Florida head coach Mary Wise addressed the media Monday morning as part of the Gators' All-Sports Media Day.
After dropping the first set in their game against LSU on Friday night, the Gators rebounded to win in four sets, which was the first time this season they have won a match after losing the first set. Then on Sunday at Arkansas, Florida fell behind after losing the first two sets, only to win the next three and take the match in five sets. This was the first time since the early 2000's that the Gators won a match on the road after losing the first two sets.
Wise was very pleased with the performance of Chloe Mann over the weekend as she compared her to a basketball player who just doesn't miss and also said that at one point, they began expecting every swing she took would result in a kill. Wise was unable to recall someone who has emerged as quickly as Mann has during her tenure at Florida.
The Gators return home for their final three matches of the regular season, hosting Georgia at 7 p.m. on Friday before Senior Day on Sunday at 1:30 p.m., when Florida takes on Auburn.
