VIDEO: Women's Hoops Takes the Soccer Halftime Challenge

The Gator women's basketball team squared off against the Gator lacrosse and softball teams during halftime of a UF soccer home game, as the three squads challenged each other in a variety of relay races.
Freshman Carlie Needles (Highlands Ranch, Col.), senior Ndidi Madu (Antioch, Tenn.) and sophomore Brittany Shine (Sacramento, Calif.) narrate the video as they watch their teammates compete against athletes from the other successful teams.
The event was part of a fun promotion and gave Gator fans a chance to meet athletes from other sports during the soccer match.

The Gators play host to Michigan on November 11 in the O'Connell Center in both team's respective season-openers. It will be the first game of a UF basketball doubleheader and tip-off is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
