In his return to the bench on Tuesday night at Kentucky, Bruce Pearl's Volunteers lost to the Wildcats. The next night, the Gators won at South Carolina to open more breathing room in the SEC East.
The Gators host the Volunteers tonight at the O'Connell Center in a key SEC East game that will impact the top of the division standings regardless. Florida has won three consecutive games and with a win tonight, the Gators can strengthen their grip on the division lead.
