
Florida-Georgia Meet Airs on ESPNU and ESPN2

The Florida-Georgia gymnastics meet airs Thursday, Feb. 17 at 7 p.m. on ESPNU (channel 251 Gainesville/Ocala Cox cable). The broadcast re-airs on ESPN2 (channel 27 or 727 on Gainesville/Ocala Cox cable) on Sunday, Feb. 20 at 11:30 a.m.
The No. 1 Gators remain undefeated after using the nation's top total of 2011 to take a 197.725-196.60 win at No. 4 Georgia on Saturday. Florida's team total was the highest in the nation for the third consecutive week.
Florida's trifecta of all arounders – Mackenzie Caquatto, Ashan?e Dickerson and Alaina Johnson – each earned a top-three spot in the all-around event. Johnson claimed her second all-around win of the season, upping her season-best to 39.675 – which also ranks as the nation's top total of 2011. She also shared the day's vault and uneven bar wins. She was named the SEC Gymnast of the Week following her performance at Georgia. Dickerson used wins on the vault, floor and beam for a 39.575 total and second place finish. Caquatto shared third in the all-around (39.475) with UGA senior Cassidy McComb.
Next, the Gators face No. 22 Auburn in Florida's last home meet of the season, Feb. 18 at 7 p.m. in the Stephen C. O'Connell Center. It's Senior Night and Florida's All-American seniors Maranda Smith and Alicia Goodwin will be honored at the meet. Tickets are $4, while children 17 and under and UF students showing a valid Gator 1 card are admitted free.

Due to the large amount of events in and around the O'Connell Center on Feb. 18 (SEC Swimming & Diving Championships and home opener for Gator baseball), fans are encouraged to utilize the parking shuttle. Park in the commuter lot on Gale Lemerand Drive where the shuttle will pick up patrons and drop them off at the corner of Gale Lemerand Drive and Stadium Road near the O'Connell Center's Gate 2. The shuttle begins at 5 p.m. Friday and runs until 30 minutes after the evening's final event.
