Time Changed For Baseball Series Opener Against BC

The start time for the college baseball series opener between the University of Florida and Boston College scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 24, at McKethan Stadium has been changed to 5 p.m. It had previously been slated for 7 p.m. and has been shifted with the men's basketball game between Florida and Georgia taking place at 7 p.m. in the Stephen C. O'Connell Center. The Gators and Eagles will meet at 5 p.m. on both Thursday and Friday and then complete the three-game set on Sunday at 1 p.m.
Coming off of a season-opening sweep of USF, head coach Kevin O'Sullivan's club (3-0) heads to Jupiter, Fla., on Tuesday to face Florida Atlantic (3-0) at Roger Dean Stadium, the spring training home of the Florida Marlins and St. Louis Cardinals. The contest will be shown live in North and Central Florida on Fox Sports Florida at 6:30 p.m.
