Softball Head Coach Tim Walton Previews Cathedral City Classic With Media Monday

University of Florida head coach Tim Walton addressed the media Monday morning as part of the Gators' All-Sports Media Day.
Walton discussed the great performance at the teams' home opener this weekend in the win against North Carolina, as well as looked ahead to the upcoming weekend at an important tournament in Palm Springs, Calif. Walton talked about senior pitcher Stephanie Brombacher, why it's important to play well in front of the California crowd this weekend and the upcoming NCAA tournament-like matchup with no. 1 UCLA.
The Gators travel to Palm Springs, Calif. to play in the Cathedral City Classic beginning on Feb. 24 where they will face No. 1 UCLA, No. 13 Texas and Indiana.
