The Florida men's basketball team moved a spot closer to cracking the top 10 in the national polls on Monday, checking in at No. 13 in both the AP Top 25 and the USA Today/ESPN Coaches Poll.
Florida won its only game last week on Sunday at LSU, 68-61.
The Gators have been in and out of the polls this season but are now at their highest rankings since being ranked No. 9 in the AP poll and No. 10 in the USA Today/ESPN poll the second week of the season.
Florida's recent climb is due to a five-game winning streak, including wins against SEC East foes Kentucky, Vanderbilt and Tennessee.
Florida returns to action on Thursday at home against Georgia.

After four of the top five teams lost last week, Duke has reclaimed the top spot in both polls.
