Coach Dowling Discusses Upcoming Season, Previews Northrup Grumman Regional Challenge

University of Florida head coach Jan Dowling addressed the media Monday morning as part of the Gators' All-Sports Media Day.

The women's golf team will open its spring season on Feb. 14 at the Northrup Grumman Regional Challenge, held in Palos Verdes, Calif.

Coach Dowling previewed her team's upcoming schedule as well as her assessment of her current players and the role they will play on the team this upcoming spring.

This spring marks the 11th-consecutive season the Gators will participate in the three-day event with the team coming off a ninth-place finish last year. The 14-team field features five teams ranked in the Top 25 of the Golf World/NGCA Coaches Poll.
