Coach Troy Met the Media on Monday

University of Florida head coach Gregg Troy addressed the media Monday morning as part of the Gators' All-Sports Media Day.

Troy discussed this week's women's NCAA Championship meet at the University of Texas, as well as looking ahead to the men's NCAA Championships the following week. Troy talked about senior Teresa Crippen's role as a team leader, the pressure that comes with being the defending NCAA champions and the expectations for the five freshmen competing in their first NCAA meet.

Beginning Thursday, the women will compete in the NCAA Championship meet in Austin, Texas, while the men return to action on March 24 at the NCAA Championships in Minneapolis, Minn.
