The Florida women's tennis team remained in the top spot of the Campbell/ITA Team Rankings for the third consecutive week.
The Gators (15-1, 4-0 Southeastern Conference) jumped Stanford when the rankings switched to the computer formula, ironically shortly following Florida's 4-2 loss to the Cardinal in the final of the ITA National Team Indoor Championships.
The individual singles and doubles bi-weekly rankings also were release and six Gators appear among the top-100 singles players and a trio of teams was listed among the nation's best doubles tandems.
Sophomore Allie Will (Boca Raton, Fla.) remained No. 7 in the singles rankings, followed by junior Joanna Mather (Duluth, Ga.) at No. 26, sophomore Lauren Embree (Marco Island, Fla.) at No. 28, freshman Olivia Janowicz (Palm Bay, Fla.) at No. 35, freshman Alex Cercone (Seminole, Fla.) at No. 45 and freshman Sofie Oyen (Leopoldsburg, Belgium) at No. 90.
In doubles, Oyen and Will dropped from No. 1 to No. 4, while Cercone and Will checked in at No. 24 and sophomore Caroline Hiitmana (Waterloo, Belgium) and Mather are ranked No. 43.
Florida has a bye in the SEC weekend schedule and won't compete again until Friday, March 25, when the squad travels to Oxford, Miss., and plays Ole Miss, before hosting Mississippi State on Sunday, March 27 at 1 p.m.
