Gators senior forward Chandler Parsons, the SEC Player of the Year, made the AP All-American Team on Monday.
Parsons was named an honorable-mention selection after averaging 11.3 points, 7.8 rebounds and 3.8 assists in his final season at Florida.
Parsons finished his career tied with teammate Alex Tyus for second on the school's all-time list for games played by appearing in 142 games over the past four seasons.
A Casselberry native, Parsons became the first player in UF history to be named SEC Player of the Year earlier this month.
The AP named BYU's Jimmer Fredette, Duke's Nolan Smith, Ohio State's Jared Sullinger, Purdue's JaJuan Johnson and UConn's Kemba Walker to the First Team; the Second Team featured Marcus Morris of Kansas, Derrick Williams of Arizona, Notre Dame's Ben Hansbrough, Wisconsin's Jordan Taylor and San Diego State's Kawhi Leonard.
Texas' Jordan Hamilton, Morehead State's Kenneth Faried, Kansas State's Jacob Pullen, Xavier's Tu Holloway and Providence's Marshon Brooks make up the Third Team.
Parsons is joined by fellow SEC players John Jenkins of Vanderbilt and Kentucky teammates Brandon Knight and Terrence Jones as honorable mentions.
