O'Leary Discusses Undefeated ALC Slate, Two Week Break
Monday, April 18, 2011 | Lacrosse
University of Florida head coach Amanda O'Leary spoke with the media Monday morning as part of the Gators' All-Sports Media Day.
O'Leary discussed the Gators' effort in the team's historic wins over then-No. 2 Northwestern and No. 17 Vanderbilt, the importance of the No. 1 seed in the ALC Tournament and her reactions to the Florida squad capturing their first ALC regular season championship just 15 months from the program's inception. She also addressed the team's two-week break heading into finals and how the young Gators need to focus on each day rather than looking into the future.
Florida returns to action in two weeks when the No. 3 Gators travel to face Cornell in their regular season finale. The matchup between the Gators and the Big Red is set for Sunday, May 1st at 12:00 p.m.
