Thursday, April 28, 2011 | Baseball
This upcoming weekend will be an exciting time on the University of Florida campus. Along with Gator Baseball's series against Ole Miss at McKethan Stadium from Friday through Sunday, April 29-May 1, the University's Commencement will be taking place in the Stephen C. O'Connell Center throughout the weekend. Game times on the diamond are at 7 p.m. on Friday, 7 p.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m. on Sunday.
In anticipation of these multiple events, Ticket Operations for this series, including player guest and will call, will be located down the right-field line in front of the Lemerand Athletic Center on Stadium Road. Baseball fans can avoid Graduation traffic and festivities by parking off of Woodlawn Drive on Flavet Field or by utilizing the event shuttle from the Commuter Lot on Lemerand Drive.
Please make note of these two special parking options and enjoy the Gators taking on the Rebels without getting caught up in the traffic caused by Graduation Weekend. Once again, baseball fans can avoid Graduation Events by parking on Flavet Field off of Woodlawn Drive and Stadium Road, by utilizing the event day shuttle from the Commuter Lot on Lemerand Drive and by accessing McKethan Stadium through the first-base ticket gate.
The buses will stop at the right-field gate in front of the Lemerand Center for access to the baseball game and at Gate 2 of the O'Connell Center for people attending Graduation ceremonies. The shuttles will run for 30 minutes following the conclusion of the event which is completed last and the return pick-up point will be in the same location.
