
O'Leary Addresses Making History in NCAA Tournament, Previews Duke

University of Florida head coach Amanda O'Leary spoke with the media Monday morning as part of the Gators' All-Sports Media Day.
O'Leary discussed the Gators' first-ever NCAA Tournament victory over Stanford on Saturday after five hours of rain delay. O'Leary also addressed the depth of the offense, specifically ALC Second Team midfielder and ALC All-Tournament Team honoree Janine Hillier (Farmingdale, N.Y.) and her recent hot streak as the Gators continue in the NCAA Tournament. Florida's second round matchup against fifth-seeded Duke was a focal point of the media session, as O'Leary discussed their team's strength from top to bottom.
The Gators and the Blue Devils face off in NCAA Postseason action on Saturday, May 21st with a trip to Stony Brook on the line. Opening draw for the second round matchup is set for 3:00p.m. EST at Dizney Stadium.
