Thursday, May 26, 2011 | Lacrosse
Under Armour, Inc. and Corrigan Sports Enterprises, Inc. announced today the selection of the nation's top boys and girls high school seniors to the prestigious All-America lacrosse rosters. The sixth annual Under Armour All-America Lacrosse Classic will take place on Saturday, July 2nd at Towson University's Johnny Unitas Stadium in Towson, Md.
Florida had four signees named Under Armour All-Americans as Nora Barry (Camillus, N.Y.), Shannon Gilroy (East Northport, N.Y.), Nicole Graziano (Mendham, N.J.) and Sally Jentis (Ridgewood, N.J.) were honored and will play for the North Team. Florida's four All-Americans tied for the most of any women's program this year, as national semifinalists Duke and Maryland also had four each. Maryland's men's lacrosse program led the nation as six of its incoming recruits earned All-America honors.
Barry, Gilroy, Graziano and Jentis join seven current Gators as Under Armour All-Americans. Sophomores Ashley Bruns (Ellicott City, Md.), Kitty Cullen (Rockville, Md.), Brittany Dashiell (Bel Air, Md.), Sam Farrell (Millersville, Md.), Janine Hillier (Farmingdale, N.Y.), Haydon Judge (Chestertown, Md.) and Colby Rhea (Abington, Md.) were named 2009 Under Armour All-Americans.
