Coach O'Leary Previews NCAA Tournament

University of Florida head coach Amanda O'Leary spoke with the media Monday morning as part of the Gators' All-Sports Media Day.
O'Leary discussed the Gators' effort in the ALC Tournament, where Florida fell to Northwestern in the Championship game, 9-10. Sophomores Emily Dohony (Parkton, Md.), Sam Farrell (Millersville, Md.) and Janine Hillier (Farmingdale, N.Y.) were named to the 2011 ALC All-Tournament Team and O'Leary addressed Hillier, captain Caroline Chesterman (South Nyack, N.Y.) and ALC First Team honoree Ashley Bruns' (Ellicott City, Md.) mounting contributions to the offense. Florida's first berth into the NCAA Tournament was a focal point of the media session, as O'Leary discussed their NCAA First Round matchup against MPSF Champion Stanford.
The Gators and the Cardinal face off in NCAA Postseason action on Saturday, May 14th. Opening draw for the first round matchup is set for 1:00p.m. EST at Dizney Stadium.
