NFL roster moves involve several former Gators as league gets back to work

Since the NFL lockout ended Monday, there has been a flurry of activity on the transaction wire involving former Gators.
The news continues to filter out, the latest a report from Jay Glazer of FoxSports.com that former UF defensive lineman Derrick Harvey has been cut by the Jaguars.
Meanwhile, several Gators have signed with teams since the lockout ended, including safety Ahmad Black agreeing to a four-year deal with the Bucs. Black was Tampa Bay's fifth-round draft choice
Among undrafted rookie free agents, defensive tackle Terron Sanders has signed with the Ravens, rejoining former Gators defensive coordinator Teryl Austin. Running back Emmanuel Moody signed with the Bills and defensive end/linebacker Duke Lemmens joined the Cardinals.

The 2010 Ray Guy Award winner, Chas Henry, signed with the Eagles, and former UF linebackers A.J. Jones (Denver) and Brandon Hicks (Buffalo) received their first opportunity to make it in the NFL by signing on Wednesday.
Another pair of Gators from last year's team, offensive lineman Carl Johnson and defensive tackle Justin Trattou, also signed. Johnson came to terms with the Saints and Trattou with the Giants.
Among NFL veterans who played at UF, defensive end Jarvis Moss re-signed with the Raiders on Wednesday, Denver traded receiver Jabar Gaffney to the Redskins, 49ers defensive end Ray McDonald re-signed, as did linebacker Mike Peterson with the Falcons.
Meanwhile, according to Twitter reports on Friday, offensive lineman Max Starks, let go by the Steelers, has contacted the Cardinals about a possible roster spot but has not received an offer.
